The 2017 Kia Sorento is offered with a choice of three engines: a four cylinder, 2.4 L GDI powerplant that develops 185 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, a turbocharged four cylinder, 2,0 L T-GDI engine with 240 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and, last but not least, a powerful 290 hp GDI V6 engine that enables the 2017 Sorento to tow up to 5,000 lb. An incredibly smooth 6-Speed Sportmatic transmission is offered as standard equipment with all three engines.
