Kia Canada has revealed the pricing structure for its first-ever K4 compact sedan, set to arrive at dealerships across the country in October. The 2025 K4 will be available in five trim levels, with prices starting at CAD 23,995 for the base LX IVT model.
The K4 comes in five versions. The basic LX IVT model costs $23,995, while the most expensive GT-Line Turbo Limited is priced at $34,495. These prices make the K4 comparable to other compact sedans, with options for different needs and budgets.
David Sherrard, Director of Strategic Planning at Kia Canada, emphasized the K4's position in the compact car segment, stating, "The K4 sets a new benchmark with inspiring design, meaningful standard features, and plenty of technology to meet the needs of many."
The K4 offers two powertrain options. The standard 2.0-liter engine produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque, paired with an intelligently variable transmission (IVT). This configuration achieves impressive fuel economy ratings of 7.9/5.8/7.0 L/100km for city/highway/combined driving.
For those seeking more performance, the GT-Line trims feature a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine delivering 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The GT-Line Turbo models also include a multi-link rear suspension for enhanced driving dynamics.
The K4 boasts segment-leading dimensions, measuring 4,709 mm in length and 1,849 mm in width, providing ample interior space. Rear passengers will enjoy 965 mm of legroom and 947 mm of headroom.
Standard features across all trims include Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, a 12.3-inch multi-display with a 4-inch cluster, LED headlamps, and Kia Connect with over-the-air update capabilities.
Higher trims offer additional advanced driver assistance systems, such as Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist and Surround-View Monitor. The GT-Line Turbo Tech trim includes enhanced collision avoidance systems and premium features like a Harman Kardon audio system.
The K4's interior showcases Kia's latest technology, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Select models feature a combined nearly 30 inches of digital instrumentation, creating a premium cockpit experience.
Kia's "Opposites United" design philosophy is evident in the K4's bold exterior styling, featuring unique LED lighting signatures and hidden rear door handles for a sleek profile.
